My post graduate studies

Hi, guys, how are you? I hope so, today I'm going to talk about the postgraduate courses that I would like to take in the future. I am currently studying pharmacy at the Faculty of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Chile. 

I love my career since I love chemical and biological sciences, I also like laboratory work and is part of the health area, which is why I would like to do a post-graduate degree in pharmacology. Pharmacology is a fundamental science, which is responsible for studying the interaction of drugs (specifically their molecules with the organism). This seems to me very interesting, so much to study it in the not too distant future, I hope ... In this post-graduate course I would like to study things like the interaction of the body with the different molecules, what makes certain drugs so special, I would like to have some course where they instruct me on the creation of new drugs or molecules to treat diseases, all this seems incredible. This is a topic that I would like to study if or if in the future after finishing my career, if possible I would like to study it in some foreign university, since these are much more advanced in science than the Chilean universities. I would like to study the whole course in the foreigner, in person (obviously) and one finished this, I would return to Chile to apply my new knowledge and be able to give my contribution to the scientific community and the community in general. My future work.

Since I was little I always knew that I wanted to do something important, something that could help people. I remember when I saw the television programs where people appeared with important jobs that helped in some way in society. Until that moment I never knew clearly what I wanted to work with, I had my ideas like every child, I wanted to be a firefighter, detective, doctor, lawyer, etc.

Now with 20 years, although my tastes have changed, I still want to work on something that can help people, and over time I developed an incredible curiosity for the unknown, it is for all this I would like to work investigating, but not any type of research, but in something that can somehow help people.

 I would like to work in a laboratory where new treatments or ways of curing diseases are investigated, the very idea of ​​thinking about a job like this motivates me every morning to finish my studies sooner. Also, if I dedicated myself to the research I would be obliged to travel abroad constantly, which I would like quite a bit.

 I am thinking of taking a major in pharmacology or pharmaceutical technology as they could be very useful to work on the development of new drugs or treatments for diseases.  I would also like to work on these topics.

Sports

If I had to choose my favorite hobby, I would have to say that they are sports in general. Since I was a child I have always liked sports, of all kinds. I can remember when I watched sports on TV in my childhood with my parents every weekend. 

Sports are very enjoyable, practiced anywhere, even at home, you do not need to go to the gym or sports center. You just need the desire to play sports and if you can do it with a friend is better, there is nothing like running or doing a routine with a friend.

The sports are very important for me because it helps me to cope with the stress of the university, it also distracts me from day to day. I try to practice all weeks and always that I can, I practice sports since I was 3 years old (I learned to swim at the 3 year old). Currently among others I like play football, basketball, swim, dance, table tennis, also I like to do resistance routines.  I always like to learn new sports, in the future I would like to learn Mountain Climbing or trekking. 

There is only one sport that would not practice and is the hobby horsing, I find it really ridiculous, in my opinion should not be a sport.

I would recommend to all my readers that they try to practice sport frequently is something really rewarding. 

The renal system

The human body is a perfect machine that has mechanisms of answer for all type of stimulus. Exist systems in charge of specific function, but all the systems the most I feel that amazing is the renal system. 

The renal system, also known as the urinary system, is a set of organs whose principal function is to eliminate wastes from the body, regulate blood volume and blood pressure, control levels of electrolytes and metabolites, and regulate blood pH. They components are kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra.  The renal system is located a long trunk and abdomen, the human body normally has two paired kidneys located one on the left and one on the right in lumbar area. The urinary system is really most big that other systems as respiratory, etc. 

Exist many diseases associated urinary system, but the most important are urinary incontinence, diabetes, hypertension, renal calculus, Urethritis, etc. All of diseases affect the normal function of excretion of the system, even affect the normal function others system as circulatory nervous and endocrine. You can help the system urinary eating healthy and going to the doctor periodically. 

The best concert

I´m a person that likes rock and metal type of music, I really love this type of music, I hear it everywhere, when I go on the subway, bus, even in my house. For this reason in my life I went to so many concerts of rock and metal music, but the concert that I remember most is PEAR JAM Latin America tour 2015.

 

Pearl Jam is an American rock band formed in Seattle, in 1990. Their members are Eddie Vedder (lead vocals, rhythm guitar); Mike McCready (lead guitar, backing vocals); Stone Gossard (rhythm/lead guitar, backing vocals); Jeff Ament (bass, backing vocals); Matt Cameron (drums, percussion, backing vocals). 

This concert was in national stadium located in the center of Santiago, in November 4, 2015. I remember the concert like it was yesterday, the band played for 2 hours straight. The atmosphere was very comfortable, the people was cool, really was good experience.

I felt very well during the concert, one experience that I will never forget. The moment that I remember the most was Eddi Vedder singing my favorite song: BLACK. 

The country of my dreams

Hi my friend, today I will tell you about a place very far from here called Australia, I hope not being bothering you… 

Australia is the most attractive country in the world for me. This country is very appealing because they have a wonderful biodiversity and I really love the nature, for this reason Australia is perfect for me. Also this country has great amount of culture in their cities. 

Australia is a country located in the Australian continent that includes the island of Tasmania and numerous smaller islands. It has one of the most diverse flora and fauna of the world, there you can find animals that no other part of the world exist, such as the platypus, Kangaroos and koalas. In this country people speak in English, obviously with the corresponding accent. 

I would visit the city of Sydney, because of the architecture, in this place is the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House all included in the Sydney Harbour. Also I would visit the Melbourne because it seems to me a wonderful city, with many tourist places to visit as Melbourne City Centre, Flinders Street Station, Shrine of Remembrance, Federation Square, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Royal Exhibition Building.

In my opinion Australia is a beautiful country where I would like to live in the distant future, when I finish university and I have a family. I really feel that I would be very happy if I live there...

My BLOGGING EXPERIENCE

The experience of writing blogs is totally new to me, never in my life had I devoted part of my time to writing about different things and my personal tastes, not even think about making them public on a web page. So the experience of writing a blog was something new for me, funny, sometimes boring because of the difficulty I have to express myself, adding that I do not handle English well, other times it was an escape in which you could write what you think , Even if it were not true, is certainly a different experience that must be lived.

My writing skills in English, I think they have improved a lot thanks to write weekly blogs, at first I could not even write a sentence without needing help, now at least I can write quietly and I can consult dictionaries less frequently or other means.
